Air Access
There are direct flights from major cities around the world to Osaka (Kansai International Airport). In addition, there are about 30 flights daily between Tokyo (Haneda Airport) and Osaka (Itami Airport). The flight time is about one hour.
Note: There are very few flights from Narita International Airport in Tokyo to Itami Airport.
Rail Access
Tokyo (Tokyo Station or Shinagawa Station) and Osaka (Shin-Osaka Station) are connected by the JR Tokaido Shinkansen. The trip from Tokyo Station to Shin-Osaka Station takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, and about 150 trains run daily.
We recommend that you reserve your seat in advance if you are traveling with Shinkansen.
